After reading it however, it seems to me that a few tough runescape 07 accounts particulars are really given other than it is visually stunning. Well whoop-dee-dooo! If that’s the case, those conducting the show at Jagex have definitely whiffed at still another pitch for still another strike. We’ve seen visually striking or even stunning before… over a few years ago… but with content that’s not really entertaining, WHAT’S THE POINT?!?
The post itself made me think of the past when Dungeoneering came out. Was it fresh? Yup. Was it exciting? Just a little bit. Can it be cool? Everything depended on who you’re talking to at any given time however many folks were NOT impressed with it at all after a brief period once the reality of the art sunk in. Amount 120? Dungeoneering itself? It was to be only a pain in the ass way of getting a few new items and yes, it required a lot of hours to do it!
What it really amounted to once I looked at it, played it and saw what was involved… was that skill was nothing greater than a”skill” put into place in order to give all the obsessive/compulsives something to do after they had completed everything else to do under the RS sun. Can you say… degree 120 anyone?!? The fear at the time was the amount 120 was likely to become the new norm for many skills but for those of us who were still sane and exercised common sense logic, we saw nothing more than the empty shell with a great paint job.
Let’s face it… dumb clicking to level some abilities to 99 was bad enough buy osrs accounts but if you wanted it all then that’s exactly what you did. Besides getting some items to show off such as capes and the like… names… yada-yada-yada… being around the top page of the hi-scores table… or about the individual skills tables meant you’re”the best” and should be worshipped. Or be highly thought of.
Adults understood it was only hours of your real life invested in a match clicking away ad nauseam. Anyone recall Zezima worship? I sure as hell do and I still hate that man’s name after all these years! OMG occasions three!! Get a life nooblets!
