If you’re looking for a way to level up while still undergoing some Maplestory 2 Mesos fairly interesting content, committed side quests are a fantastic alternative. Side quests are marked on the map with exclamation points. All of these have a story element to them and a number of them even result in unlocking new mainline assignments (bizarre, right?) Or other side quests. Most of all, side quests dole out as much and sometimes more experience than narrative missions. Basically, completing side quests is just as vital as story quests during the grind.
There is typically a couple of secondary quests for every level, but after some time, they won’t even be enough to keep you at a suitable level. That’s where all of the in-between things comes in. Some of these are big Spartan, Athenian, or bandit foundations, while others are single buildings or even environmental landmarks. You don’t need to walk far to find chances to make chunks of experience factors. Fortresses are marked in the map having a red emblem, while Leaders (powerful enemy homes ) are marked with a blue emblem.
Often times you’ll stumble on enemy locations not previously indicated on your map. You’ll understand that if Alexios or Kassandra remarks that they should be quiet there. It is possible to press L3 (down on the left thumbstick) to show location objectives. Occasionally objects include killing an enemy captain or polemarch, along with looting treasure chests and/or picking up crucial items and burning war provides. Other times it is simply looting chests. It is dependent on the location. Smaller places with less or no enemies cause fewer experience points, but they are still worth clearing away. It is simple to snag 1,000 or more experience points for just a couple minutes work.
We mentioned this in our MMOGDP beginner’s guide but it’s also worth mentioning here: Don’t forget that if you’re having trouble locating new places, switching to Ikaros (bonus) is a good method to zero in on buildings, enemies, treasure, and other things of interest. Send Ikaros to the skies by pressing up on the d-pad. You’ll want to activate stationary manner with L2/LT.
